Your reading material and pronunciation glossary are yours. Say It Right is designed so they do not need to leave your browser.

What the extension stores

The extension stores pronunciation cues, their site scope, preferences, and—if you buy Plus—a license token and cached verification result in your browser’s local extension storage. It reads only text you actively select after opening the extension or choosing its context-menu action. It does not store selected passages.

What is sent

Reading uses speech voices installed in or exposed by your browser. Say It Right does not send selected text or pronunciation cues to us. A Plus license token is sent to the Sociobot billing API only to verify the license. Hosted checkout is operated by Sociobot with Dodo as merchant of record and is covered by their transaction terms.

Exports and deletion

Glossary export happens only when you request it. The resulting JSON file stays wherever you save it. Delete individual cues in the extension, or remove the extension/browser data to delete all local data.

Website

This site has no advertising, tracking pixels, third-party fonts, or behavioral analytics. The hosting provider may retain standard security logs such as IP address and request time.
